The World Series of Poker is the biggest event in of the poker calendar and for the second time, it's coming to Europe! The WSOPE (World Series of Poker Europe)event takes place in London from 19th September to 1st October 2008 at prestigious London Casinos.

The inaugural 2007 WSOPE proved to be very popular with players from all over Europe and the rest of the world taking part. Three different tournaments were held; a HORSE tournament that was won by Thomas Bihl, a Pot Limit Omaha event won by Dario (Ryu) Alioto, and the main event tournament that was won by Annette Obrestad, who walked away with a cool $1million!
